Miller Library, located in Laurelhurst at the UW Botanic Gardens (3501 NE 41st Street)  is holding a story time on Saturday with the theme of "Butterflies Flutter" from 10:30-11:15am.

The information says:
We're flitting through time this Saturday, beginning with a true story about Maria Merian (born in 1647) and her careful observations of caterpillars as they developed into butterflies and moths.
After the stories, try your hand at coloring one of Merian's butterfly engravings.

Books to be read are:
SUMMER BIRDS by Margarita Engle
A BUTTERFLY IS PATIENT by Diana Hutts Aston
10 LITTLE CATERPILLARS by Bill Martin Jr

Storytime is geared towards children ages 3 to 8. All ages and their families are welcome.
